- Changed vacuum bag; cleaned & wiped down vacuum (Cirrus/backup vacuum)
- Cleaned washing machine with vinegar & baking soda

- Disinfected & wiped down: all door handles & light switches, elliptical, furnace, kitchen cupboard doors & handles, laundry basket, oven, refrigerator, remotes, TV stand, washer & dryer (inside & outside), workout gear
- Emptied Litter Genie & wiped down
- Refilled bird feeders, hummingbird feeder & outside water dish
- Refreshed couch pillows in dryer
- Swept deck, outside entrance & yard walkway
- Took out recycling: glass, metal, paper, plastic
- Washed cat dishes + mat
As Needed:
- Food prep: refilled butter dish; shredded cheese; took out butter, cheese & turkey to thaw
- Refreshed bath towels in dryer
- Replaced light bulb in salt lamp (bedroom)
- Soaked dish cloth in OxiClean
- Swept workshop entrance
- Took out household garbage
Yardwork:
- Picked up & raked tree debris; removed dandelions from lawn (30 minutes)
Daily:
- Changed kitchen dish cloth
- Cleaned litter box
- Descaled tea kettle
- Dishes: washed, dried, put away
- Emptied food scrap bucket
- Made bed & refreshed blanket in dryer
- Made meals
- Opened driveway gate
- Pet the cats & put food/water out
- Prepped coffeemaker & tea kettle for the morning
- Refilled Berkey water filter
- Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
- Vacuumed entire house
- Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop; lunch cooler bag
Downtime:
- Blogging, IMDb, journaling, online puzzles, solitaire, watched movies/TV, Wii sports
- Relaxed with my husband: ate salad, chicken taquitos with refried beans dinner & watched ‘A Quiet Place: Part II’
BEING A HOUSEWIFE IS THE OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFETIME:
When a woman chooses to be a housewife rather than having a career outside the home, she isn’t passing up an opportunity but gaining an opportunity that only she can fulfill. To take care of a husband and family is not a given in life, nor is it a right; it is a privilege, and it is something that a housewife can do like no other woman, because her husband and family are hers to care for with love.
