A Dirty Home is Scarier than Housework (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

A DIRTY HOME IS SCARIER THAN HOUSEWORK:

When it comes to another day of housework, it can be tempting to run away screaming and let the dirt take over.

But, as scary as daily housework can be, living in a messy, dirty, filthy home is far scarier.

A housewife has to weigh the alternatives sometimes to tap into her housework mojo: live with the dirt or live with the housework.

It’s worth considering the alternative when it feels like housework doesn’t matter, because deep down a housewife knows that living in a clean home does matter and that she has the power to make it happen.

A Housewife is Intimate with Her Home (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE IS INTIMATE WITH HER HOME:

Cleaning a home every day creates an intimate bond between a housewife and her home, because she knows her home like no one else.

She learns where the high traffic areas are, she knows where dirt hides, and she figures out where missing socks go when they’re missing.

Beyond cleaning, home is the place a housewife is most familiar with because it is where she is at most of the time, and it is the place that brings her the most comfort; her home is her nest, it is her domain, it is where she thrives, and it is where she loves to be with the people she loves.

A Consistent Housewife Consistently Improves (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A CONSISTENT HOUSEWIFE CONSISTENTLY IMPROVES:

The key to always improving with housework is to be consistent and unwavering in the performance of one’s duties.

By doing housework tasks regularly, a housewife learns how to do them better and with a better attitude, too.

Improving one’s skills and mindset doesn’t come from ignoring housework, and housework isn’t any easier when it is ignored.

A housewife improves herself, her home, and the lives of those she loves, when she chooses to dedicate herself to being consistent with her housework duties.

Junk Doesn't Belong in a Drawer (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

JUNK DOESN’T BELONG IN A DRAWER:

When it comes to home organization, junk belongs in the garbage, not in a drawer.

To have a designated ‘junk’ drawer creates an excuse to not keep a drawer organized – and why would anyone want to organize junk? It’s junk.

However, supplies are handy and helpful, and supplies require organizing so that they are easy to find when needed.

By using the word 'supplies' and having a designated supply drawer, junk and the mess it creates go away, and organized supplies take their place.

A Housewife Doesn't Have to Love Housework (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

Housework comes with the role of being a housewife, and to do housework every day requires discipline, dedication, and a love of home and family, but not necessarily a love of housework.

When a housewife doesn’t love housework, then the challenge before her is making peace with housework by learning to appreciate its importance, improving her skills, and not letting something she doesn’t love become an excuse to keep her from doing her best.

Housework Satisfies the Soul (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

HOUSEWORK SATISFIES THE SOUL:

Housework isn’t about having fun, and the reality is that it isn’t always fun.

What is better than fun, though, is feeling satisfied for accomplishing daily tasks, especially when the tasks are challenging, or the day is filled with obstacles.

When a housewife takes time to look around her home and admire the efforts of her work, it feels good in her soul to know that with her own two hands she created a place that provides comfort and welcomes her loved ones home.

Time Off Does a Housewife Good (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

TIME OFF DOES A HOUSEWIFE GOOD:

A housewife knows that staying home is a blessing, but that doesn’t mean the routine never takes its toll or that she doesn’t have bad days when things don’t go as she hopes.

While housework never stops, it does a housewife good to take time off when it’s needed, for her sake and the sake of her loved ones.

When a housewife isn’t happy, it doesn’t make her family happy, but when she treats herself to a break, it makes her happy and her family happy too.

A Housewife Gives Without Expecting (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

Every day a housewife gives of herself by caring for her home and loved ones, and she does it all without expecting something in return.

A housewife isn’t validated by praise; she’s validated by accomplishing her work each day to the best of her abilities.

Sometimes she gets praise when she doesn’t expect it, and sometimes she doesn’t get praise when she needs it, but either way she continues to give.

Being a housewife is not about expecting something in return; it’s about giving without strings attached and giving with love to those who are loved.

Saving Money Saves a Home (Home Economics Sayings by JenExx)

SAVING MONEY SAVES A HOME:

When money isn’t set aside in savings to take care of a home, or the people in it, life can get hard and feelings of hopelessness can take root.

That’s why a housewife doesn’t squander money, or let others in the home do it either, because she knows that the money she puts into savings will save her home and her family when it’s needed.

It isn’t just the housewife’s duty to save money though; she has a responsibility to her husband and he has a responsibility to her, so that they both work together to make sure money gets saved with every paycheck to keep their home and family operating at its best.

A Housewife Makes the Best of the Worst (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE MAKES THE BEST OF THE WORST:

When life doesn’t go according to plans and things take a turn for the worst, a housewife will resolve to make the best of the hand she’s been dealt.

The good thing is that nothing is permanent, not even bad times.

What matters is how a housewife helps her family get through the worst while making the best of a situation.

With faith, patience, and a proper perspective, a housewife will figure out how to overcome what she can’t control and get herself and her family through anything that comes their way.

The Household Budget is Relative to the Household Income (Housewife Home Economics by JenExx)

THE HOUSEHOLD BUDGET IS RELATIVE TO THE HOUSEHOLD INCOME:

When it comes to wise spending choices, the word ‘budget’ is often used in regard to not spending more money than the budget allows.

Not everyone has the same budget though, because not everyone has the same income.

A budget isn’t something only for people who have less money; anyone who values their money operates on a budget.

Millionaires have budgets just like non-millionaires, only their budgets are most likely more than the budget of a non-millionaire since they have a higher income.

When someone says they want to do something on a budget, their budget may not be the same as another’s budget; that’s why it’s important for a housewife to focus on her household income and make her budget work for her home, and not spend according to someone else’s budget and income.

A Girlfriend is Not a Housewife (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A GIRLFRIEND IS NOT A HOUSEWIFE:

A man can’t expect a girlfriend to behave as a dutiful housewife, and a woman can’t expect a boyfriend to behave as a providing husband, because they aren’t married.

Life changes for the better when a legal marriage bond is created, and a new phase of life begins for husband and wife.

Only then can a woman fully enter into the role of housewife and begin devoting herself to her home and husband by taking care of him, so that he is properly prepared to go into the world everyday as a caring provider for her and their home.

Home is Where a Housewife Makes It (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

HOME IS WHERE A HOUSEWIFE MAKES IT:

Being a housewife has its adventures and that includes making home wherever home happens to be, whether the situation is temporary or longer-than-expected.

A housewife takes her nesting skills with her wherever she goes and turns wherever she resides into a home of comfort and love, for herself and her family to enjoy.

A Housewife is at Home in Her Comfort Zone (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE IS AT HOME IN HER COMFORT ZONE:

Every housewife has a different level of discomfort; it can be good to stretch the boundaries of comfort at times, and it can also be good for a housewife to enjoy daily life inside her comfort zone.

Even though home is a comfort zone for a housewife, it still gets dirty and messy which takes away some of the comfort.

That is where a housewife shines, when she makes a space that isn’t as comfortable as it could be and turns it into pure comfort for herself and her family to enjoy together.
