What I Did Today: Thursday 10.20.22

Quarterly:

• Cleaned washing machine with vinegar & baking soda; wiped down inner drum & lid   

Alternate Week:

• Ironed toilet toppers 
• Spot-cleaned bathrooms

Weekly:

• Changed towels in bathrooms & kitchen (+ sponge)
• Emptied household wastebaskets 
• Mopped bathrooms & kitchen
• Refreshed bathmats in dryer + lint rolled
• Wiped down steam mop & vacuum

As Needed:

• Food prep: made ranch dressing; refilled olives jar & turkey container; restocked drinks & kitchen freezer 

Daily:

• Changed kitchen dish cloth 
• Cleaned litter box
• Descaled tea kettle
• Dishes: handwashed, dried, put away
• Emptied food scrap bucket
• Made bed & refreshed blanket in dryer
• Made meals 
• Opened driveway gate 
• Pet the cats & put food/water out
• Prepped coffeemaker & tea kettle for the morning
• Refilled Berkey water filter
• Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
• Vacuumed entire house
• Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop; Litter Genie & scoop; lunch cooler bag 

Downtime:

• Exercise: Elliptical (3.12 miles @ 21:01 minutes)
• Blogging, IMDb, journaling, online puzzles, solitaire, watched movies/TV, Wii sports
• Relaxed with my husband: ate salad, bulgogi dumplings and veggie snack plate with bread dinners; watched ‘The Commish: A Little Heart' (S3, E11)

A HOUSEWIFE MAKES THE BEST OF THE WORST:

When life doesn’t go according to plans and things take a turn for the worst, a housewife will resolve to make the best of the hand she’s been dealt. 

The good thing is that nothing is permanent, not even bad times. 

What matters is how a housewife helps her family get through the worst while making the best of a situation. 

With faith, patience, and a proper perspective, a housewife will figure out how to overcome what she can’t control and get herself and her family through anything that comes their way.
