Old Homes Need Love Too (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

OLD HOMES NEED LOVE TOO:
It’s wonderful to clean a house that is new and modern and stylish, but the reality is that not everyone lives in a home like that. Living in an older or outdated home is no reason to neglect caring for the home just because it is not a trendy HGTV home. In fact, older homes need lots more care and love because they may have been neglected over the years, especially if left vacant between tenants. A housewife can have pride in her housework accomplishments when she cares for an old home and improves it one day at a time.

A HOUSEWIFE IS DILIGENT:
To be diligent is to show care, and to be conscientious in one’s work and duties, which is what being a housewife is all about. By taking care of the family she loves, a housewife shows care for them. When doing housework day after day, a housewife pays attention to her work to make sure she is doing her best, and not just for her family but for herself. A housewife doesn’t settle for less than her best, which is why she is diligent in her housework duties and diligent in caring for her family.

A Clean Home is Magical (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A CLEAN HOME IS MAGICAL:
A clean home may not seem like anything much, but living in a dirty, disorganized home is what makes a clean home all the more magical. A clean home is truly like magic because it takes behind-the-scenes housework to make a clean home happen, just like magicians have their secrets to make a trick happen, and sometimes knowing the secrets takes away the magic. Housework doesn’t have to be a secret, although it can be a mystery at times. The end result of housework is magical for the people who return home every day to the wonders of a clean home filled with love.

New Things Come to Housewives Who Wait (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

NEW THINGS COME TO HOUSEWIVES WHO WAIT:
It’s nice to have new things in a home, but it’s even better to have something new once something old breaks and is no longer able to be repaired. When it comes to money management in a home, it’s important for a housewife to make do with what works and to repair something until it is no longer repairable; then, when it stops working there will be money saved up to replace the item without having to use credit to finance the purchase. New things in a home feels great, not having to make monthly payments feels great, and when good things finally arrive it feels really great.

Goals Keep a Housewife Going (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

GOALS KEEP A HOUSEWIFE GOING:
A housewife becomes better at what she does every day when she gives herself goals. Whether it’s doing a housework task better, faster, or more often, those goals help her keep going. It feels good to accomplish goals each day and when a housewife notices that her skills are improving, that feels great. There is always room for improvement, and having a goal to improve, get better, and do more is worth striving for every day.

Housework Equipment Requires Care (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

HOUSEWORK EQUIPMENT REQUIRES CARE:
A car takes people from one place to another, and housework equipment takes a home from dirty to clean, which is why it’s important for a housewife to take care of her housework equipment similar to the way a car is cared for. Vacuums need bags and filters changed (depending on the style), dryers need the lint screen cleaned to avoid fire hazards, and washing machines require cleaning of the drum as well; it also helps to regularly wipe down housework equipment to clean any dirt and marks. Cleaning and caring for housework equipment is a practical solution to help equipment last longer and keep it looking its best.

A Housewife Stays Hydrated (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE STAYS HYDRATED:
It’s important for a housewife to take care of herself, not just to do housework but so that her home functions well and she does too. Feeling dizzy and tired, as well as cramping muscles, are signs of dehydration; when a housewife experiences these feelings it makes it harder to take care of home and family, but it’s also unhealthy. A housewife’s health is vital to her daily responsibilities and feeling good; staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water every day helps keep a housewife in better health for her family, her home, and herself.

Steps Add Up With Housework (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

STEPS ADD UP WITH HOUSEWORK:
Housework isn’t the only exercise for a housewife, but it is a good way to keep a body moving and to get steps in each day. Making the bed, vacuuming, and putting laundry away are just a few examples of housework tasks that create plenty of steps. Of course, the bigger the house the more steps it takes to complete a task; even if smaller homes don’t take as many steps, the steps that a housewife gets in each day make a difference for the better along with the care and love she puts into her daily housework tasks.

A Housewife Makes Housework Easier (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE MAKES HOUSEWORK EASIER:
Since it’s up to a housewife to tackle housework every day, it’s also up to her to create ways to make housework easier for herself. Breaking big tasks down into smaller steps is one way to make housework easier. It also helps to do a little work at a time instead of waiting to do a lot of work at once; for instance, when family comes home at the end of the day and the next wave of work hits, rather than waiting a housewife can take steps to prepare for that wave by doing dinner prep work early and having the next day’s lunch already made. Housework has to get done, but it doesn’t have to be harder than necessary; with some thought and planning a housewife can make housework easier.

A Housewife Takes Charge (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE TAKES CHARGE:
Every day a housewife takes charge of her household. She doesn’t have to wait to be told what to do, and she doesn’t have to ask a boss if something is okay to do. A housewife knows what is best for her home because she is the one at home every day and she is the one in charge of her home. Of course a housewife will coordinate with family members to make sure anything that needs to get done in a timely manner gets done, and she takes it upon herself to ask what is needed rather than waiting for people to approach her, because that is what a woman who takes charge does and a housewife takes charge.

Homemade Makes a Difference (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

HOMEMADE MAKES A DIFFERENCE:
A housewife doesn’t have to make everything from scratch, especially in the 21st Century when there are so many wonderful options that didn’t exist in the 1950s that make cooking at home quicker and easier. However, a housewife doesn’t use modern conveniences as an excuse to never make homemade food. By starting with a few homemade basics, a housewife can grow her skills and recipe collection over time. Making something from scratch makes those foods all the more special and makes a tasty difference in the lives of those she loves who enjoy the benefits of her homemade goodness.

Housework Gets Done One Task at a Time (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

HOUSEWORK GETS DONE ONE TASK AT A TIME:
Each day when a housewife gets up, she has plenty of housework to do and it can feel overwhelming at times to think about everything that has to get done. By taking on one task at a time and focusing on the task at hand, a housewife accomplishes her housework goals; and when she’s done, she feels better for accomplishing another day of housework one task at a time.

Home is a Place to Function (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

HOME IS A PLACE TO FUNCTION:
Home is a place for many things, and if a home is not cared for it makes it harder for people to function. When a home is unorganized and there is always clutter on the tops of tables, in the hallways, and over the floors, it makes it hard for people to walk and move around the home, and also hard to relax when all that can be seen is clutter and arguments are caused by the lack of tidiness. A housewife who keeps her home organized, tidied, and clean of clutter makes home a place for everyone to function at their optimal levels in peace.

Having a Clean Home Feels Good (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

HAVING A CLEAN HOME FEELS GOOD:
It doesn’t matter if a home is old or new, large or small, professionally decorated or filled with hand-me-downs, rented or owned, it always feels good to have a clean home to live in. Once a housewife has an established housework routine, it feels good to accomplish the routine knowing that it creates a level of clean that can’t beat; and when a housewife has to take time off from her routine due to illness or another unforeseen interruption, it always feels good to get back into the swing of the routine and make home clean again.

A Housewife Makes the World Better (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE MAKES THE WORLD BETTER:
A housewife who devotes herself to her home and family truly makes the world better by making home a place people want to come home to. A housewife makes sure that home is clean and orderly, and she also makes sure that her family are fed and loved; when children are neglected in their homes and not getting fed, it highlights the importance of a housewife who fills that role. A career in the work world doesn’t always make the world better or a woman better, but a housewife who makes her home the best it can be always makes the world better, her family better, and herself better, too.

Housework Nourishes a Home (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

HOUSEWORK NOURISHES A HOME:
Housework is necessary to keep a home healthy and in good condition, which is what nourishment is all about. A body needs to be nourished in order to be healthy and caring for a home is no less important than caring for a body; a nourished home nourishes the bodies in the home, too. If a housewife doubts the importance of her work, she can remind herself that she is the one who nourishes her home with housework done in love for the people she loves.

A Housewife Keeps It Simple (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE KEEPS IT SIMPLE:
Life can be complicated enough at times which is why it’s good for a housewife to keep daily housework tasks simple, along with anything else that she can make simple. It’s important to learn more and gain new skills, but that comes in time after mastering the simple basics whether it be cooking, cleaning, or any other housework tasks that a housewife finds herself tackling day after day. Keeping it simple makes life a little easier, and there’s nothing wrong when a housewife makes her life easier by keeping it simple.

A Housewife is Her Husband's Partner (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE IS HER HUSBAND’S PARTNER:
The term ‘head of household’ is a tax filing status and does not reflect the partnership dynamics between a housewife and her husband. While a husband provides the income, the housewife provides a well-managed home where the people are cared for as well as the house itself. When a husband comes home from a day of work, he doesn’t have to worry about taking care of housework because his housewife partner has done her share of the work by making sure clothes are clean, dinner is ready, and the bed is made to provide them both with a good night’s rest.

Home Economics is Essential to a Home (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

HOME ECONOMICS IS ESSENTIAL TO A HOME:
While home economics includes many skills that help a housewife manage her home, a keyword is ‘economics’ which is a science that deals with the production, consumption, and transfer of wealth. It is essential for a housewife to know the income that is being produced for the home, how much of the income is being consumed, and where the income is going. Without knowing these things, a housewife can’t manage a home at its optimal level which includes having money for all home necessities as well as savings for the future.

A Housewife is Timeless (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE IS TIMELESS:
In the 21st Century it is often said that being a housewife is old-fashioned, as if something from another time has no use in modern times when the importance of a housewife is not tied to the times she lives in. It is never old-fashioned to care for a home and family, it is essential to creating a strong home along with the people in it; nor is it old-fashioned for a woman to devote herself with love to the people she cares for and the home they share. Being a housewife is timeless and never goes out of fashion.

Being Thankful Refines a Housewife (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

BEING THANKFUL REFINES A HOUSEWIFE:
When housework never seems to end, it’s easy for a housewife to lose sight of thankfulness. That’s why it’s important for a housewife to stop herself when she starts to feel fed up with what she has and focus instead on giving thanks for her home and family. Being thankful for what she has helps to refine a housewife by removing cynical and cranky thoughts, and making room for a grateful mindset and a loving heart.

When people live in a dirty, messy home, it can be depressing; and when people live in a clean, orderly home, it can be uplifting. That’s why a housewife who invests her time into caring for her home has the power to transform the people she loves by providing them with a clean home every day.

Housework is an Accomplishment (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

HOUSEWORK IS AN ACCOMPLISHMENT:
A housewife has the choice of how she views housework: it can be a chore, or it can be an accomplishment. When housework tasks are viewed as accomplishments, it feels good to do the work knowing that what is being accomplished is the creation of a better home. Every day is the opportunity to make home better and to accomplish housework tasks with a sense of pride.

A Housewife Takes a Break When She Needs It (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE TAKES A BREAK WHEN SHE NEEDS IT:
When life throws something unexpected at a housewife, it’s okay to take a break from the usual housework routine. In fact, taking an unplanned break can lead to a new routine or figuring out an easier way to get a task done. Even though a housewife is at rest doesn’t mean her mind is at rest though; when it’s time to return to housework, she feels better, has new ideas about her housework tasks, and has a refreshed outlook on the importance of her role as a housewife.
