A Housewife Grows in Her Comfort Zone (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE GROWS IN HER COMFORT ZONE:
A housewife grows in her comfort zone when she rises to the challenge of taking on household tasks that force her to get better at something she isn’t good at or something she doesn’t like to do. For example, taking out the garbage is often thought of as something left for a husband, but if a housewife wants to challenge herself to grow then taking out the garbage is a good place to start.

Being a Housewife is a Challenge to Grow (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

BEING A HOUSEWIFE IS A CHALLENGE TO GROW:
Sometimes the hardest part of being a housewife is the mental block of thinking things like “I’m just a housewife; all I do is housework, what’s so great about that; I’m better than doing housework,” etc. This is where the challenge to grow comes from, because a housewife is more than a housewife and she must see herself as that in order to grow into the greatest housewife she can be. A career doesn’t make a woman great; it’s the woman who makes herself great no matter what she does, and a housewife makes herself great every day by rising to the challenge of being a great housewife.

Housewives Make a Difference for the Better (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

HOUSEWIVES MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR THE BETTER:
When a woman chooses to care for her home and family every day, she makes a difference for the better in the lives of those she loves; instead of waiting for her to come home from work, her husband and family can depend on her to be there when she’s needed most, not just to do housework but to be there to celebrate good news and to give comfort when things go wrong. A housewife who gives her husband support and encouragement to be his best every day makes a difference for the better in his life, and she makes him better, too.

Laundry Isn't Done Until It's Put Away (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

LAUNDRY ISN’T DONE UNTIL IT’S PUT AWAY:
Compared to doing laundry by hand, washing machines and dryers do 90% of the work, which makes laundry quite easy when it comes to a housework task because it takes little effort and time to sort at the beginning, then fold and put away at the end. Laundry must be tackled with the mindset that laundry is only done when it is put away, instead of lowering the standard by letting the laundry linger in the dryer for hours or overnight. The best time to fold laundry is as soon as it is done drying, and then it is time to put it away; because laundry isn’t done until it’s put away.

Daily Housework is Dedication to Betterment (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

DAILY HOUSEWORK IS DEDICATION TO BETTERMENT:
Performing housework tasks every day makes a home better every day. It takes unwavering dedication by a housewife to face each day knowing that much of what was done the day before will be done again, and that the end result will be the same – a better home. Doing housework every day does not create a lesser standard of living but a higher standard that a housewife is proud to achieve.

Staying Home is a Blessing (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

STAYING HOME IS A BLESSING:
It is often said that a housewife is ‘stuck’ at home, or that a housewife is being kept in her place when she stays home, which is not necessarily the case. When a housewife stays at home she is protected from many problems and disasters that afflict society and the outside world. It’s not that a housewife never leaves her home, but she doesn’t have to face unknown dangers every day by leaving the safety of her home for a job. Staying home is a blessing for a housewife, and she blesses her home and family by taking care of that which matters most.

Housework is Work (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

HOUSEWORK IS WORK:
Housework is not a chore; housework is necessary work for a home to function at its best along with the people in it. Housework takes just as much care, dedication, and attention to detail as work in a business. A business doesn’t function well when it is not clean and orderly, and neither do the people in the business; the same goes for a home. When housework is viewed with as much importance as work in a business, housework ceases to be a chore and becomes valuable work that has the power to make home, and people, better.

Being a Housewife is Not a Part-Time Position (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

BEING A HOUSEWIFE IS NOT A PART-TIME POSITION:
Many women do housework and take care of family along with working 20, 30, 40 hours or more a week, but this does not make them housewives. A housewife stays home all day, except to run errands related to managing the home; a housewife takes care of her home every day while family is away so that they have a clean, relaxing home to return to. A housewife never puts her housework duties on hold to make money because that is not her responsibility; nor does a housewife put the needs of a boss, a coworker, or a client before the needs of her own family and home. A housewife puts her family and home first, and that requires full-time dedication.

Housework is an Investment in a Home (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

HOUSEWORK IS AN INVESTMENT IN A HOME:
When something is spent, it is gone, but with an investment something can be gained. When a housewife invests herself whole-heartedly into daily housework tasks she gains a clean home, not only for herself but for her family; she also gains a sense of purpose when she sees the value from her investment when it creates a better life for everyone in the home. The time a housewife invests in housework is never wasted or lost when the end result is an improvement.

A Housewife is a Provider (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE IS A PROVIDER:
While a housewife doesn’t provide an income to support her home and family, what she does provide is just as important – a stable homelife. When a husband returns home from work, he can relax and take comfort knowing that home is in order and dinner is being prepared; he doesn’t have to come home to an empty home, a messy home, or an unhappy wife who frantically gets home in order after being out of the house at a paying job all day. Providing a loving, stable homelife makes life better for everyone in a home and that is what a housewife provides every day for the people she loves.

A Housewife in Motion Stays in Motion (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE IN MOTION STAYS IN MOTION:
It’s good to rest when housework is done, but to start the day with a rest only prolongs housework and makes it harder to start doing what must get done. Starting the day off with routine housework instead of a rest makes it easier to continue to stay in motion doing housework until a home is clean which is when it’s best to take a well-deserved rest.

A Housewife is a Miracle (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE IS A MIRACLE:
When women are expected to leave home for a career, it truly is miraculous that a woman instead chooses to devote herself to her home and her family as a housewife; by being there for the people she loves, taking care of them when they need it, and making sure they have clean clothes, a clean home, and meals made with love, a housewife is a miracle of modern times.

If a Woman Thinks She Can't be a Housewife, She Can't (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

IF A WOMAN THINKS SHE CAN’T BE A HOUSEWIFE, SHE CAN’T:
When a woman thinks she can’t be a housewife because she has to have a career outside the home, then she can’t be a housewife because she doesn’t think she can. It takes the right mindset to be a housewife; a woman has to know and believe that she can be a housewife no matter what society or anyone tells her. When a woman believes that she can excel in her role as a housewife, that she can have purpose in what she does, and that she can provide value to her family, then she can be the best housewife she can be.

A Housewife Competes With Herself (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE COMPETES WITH HERSELF:
A housewife doesn’t compete with coworkers or her husband; she competes with herself by rising to the challenge to become better every day. Each housewife has her own life and it’s not expected to be the same as another housewife, which is why housewives don’t compete with each other, only themselves in order to be the best housewife they can be for their home and the family they love.

Having established routines each day of the week makes housework easier; over time, the tasks that are done in a routine become memorized and the body automatically goes into the routine without having to think about what to do next. Routines can easily be altered for the season, family work/school schedules, sick days, etc. Create a daily routine by writing down what needs to be done each day, then do those tasks on the scheduled days and adjust the routines as needed for maximum efficiency.

Plan for Housework Ahead of Time (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

PLAN FOR HOUSEWORK AHEAD OF TIME:
When holidays, birthdays, and celebratory days are on the calendar, a housewife does herself a favor by planning ahead and taking care of as much housework as possible during the days leading up to the event. Then on the day of the event there is as little housework to do as possible and more time to enjoy the day. Planning ahead for housework also applies when it comes to taking a trip or spending time away from the home; take care of housework before leaving so that upon returning the house is clean and in order.

An Organized Home Starts with a Housewife (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

AN ORGANIZED HOME STARTS WITH A HOUSEWIFE:
Organization isn’t an accident, and it doesn’t just happen without someone making it happen. The someone who makes an organized home a reality is a housewife since it is her domain; she is the one who takes care of the home and she utilizes the space in the home more than anyone else. Taking time to keep clothes, food, supplies and everything else organized is essential to an orderly home, and being organized is a skill that a housewife can be proud of.

A Housewife is Only Limited by Her Mind (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE IS ONLY LIMITED BY HER MIND:
The mind of a housewife is a powerful tool because her mind determines how she sees herself and how far she will go. Housework is a Goal, Not a Chore (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

HOUSEWORK IS A GOAL, NOT A CHORE:
It feels good to accomplish a goal, and a housewife needs to feel good about what she does every day, from making beds to cleaning toilets. Having something to aim for, and not just something unpleasant to do, is the difference between a goal and a chore; when a housewife views housework tasks as goals instead of chores it can change the way she feels and thinks about housework for the better. Accomplishing goals and feeling good about one’s accomplishments is pivotal in the life of a housewife.

Minutes of Tasks Creates Hours of Housework (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

MINUTES OF TASKS CREATES HOURS OF HOUSEWORK:

Housework consists of many tasks, such as dishes, laundry, dusting, vacuuming, etc.; those tasks by themselves only take minutes to get done when tackled at a steady pace. Whenever housework feels overwhelming or that it will take ‘forever’ to accomplish, it’s helpful to concentrate on the individual tasks that only take minutes; in the meantime, the hours of housework will take care of themselves.
