A HOUSEWIFE PERSEVERES:
Whatever obstacles a housewife faces, she perseveres every day. Whether she is dealing with illness, schedule conflicts, or endless loads of laundry, she takes a deep breath and takes it all in stride one step at a time. Tough Times Don't Last, But Tough Housewives Do (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

TOUGH TIMES DON’T LAST, BUT TOUGH HOUSEWIVES DO:
Tough times impact everyone, including housewives, but the good news is that tough times don’t last, and a tough housewife will keep going through the tough times. When days are hard, the best thing a housewife can do is take one step at a time, tackle one task at a time, and take a rest when it’s needed; housework isn’t going anywhere and if it takes longer to get done, then, so be it. The important thing is for a housewife to not feel defeated when life gets uncomfortably tough and to remember that this, too, shall pass.

It's Okay to Have a Off Day (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

IT’S OKAY TO HAVE AN OFF DAY:
When a housewife’s daily routine is interrupted by an unplanned illness, it’s okay for her to rest and do less. This is why it’s important to keep up on daily housework; so that when something unforeseen happens, she can get the rest she needs while maintaining her home at a minimal level. If housework tasks aren’t regularly done, they become harder to accomplish the longer they pile up; and adding an illness on top of neglected housework doesn’t help. Once she is better, she can tackle her regular housework tasks with gusto at a maximum level.

Managing a Home Requires Time Management (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

MANAGING A HOME REQUIRES TIME MANAGEMENT:
Time management is a crucial aspect in taking care of a household. When a housewife mismanages her time by procrastinating on household responsibilities while family is away, she robs herself and her family of quality time together. If housework isn’t done until family is home, then there isn’t time to enjoy being together in a clean, orderly home. By making housework a priority, a housewife makes the most of the time she has by herself so she can make the most of the time she has with those who matter most to her.

There's Nothing Ordinary About a Housewife (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

THERE’S NOTHING ORDINARY ABOUT A HOUSEWIFE:
A housewife may think that staying home is ordinary and that she’s ordinary because of it, but that’s not the case. In the 21st Century when women are trained to care for their careers before caring for home and family, it is an extraordinary woman who chooses to put home and family first in her life. Cleaning home may seem like something ordinary that everyone can do, but not everyone does it, because it takes a woman with something extra to devote herself to housework tasks every day and to make her home the best it can be for the people she loves.

Being a Housewife is a Luxury (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

BEING A HOUSEWIFE IS A LUXURY:
A woman who chooses to become a housewife gives her household the luxury of having a woman to depend on, and she gets the luxury of not having to sit in traffic to get to a job that keeps her away from her home and family. It doesn’t take marrying a millionaire to be a housewife; what it takes is prudent financial management and living within one’s means for the greater good of having a reliable housewife at home. When a husband comes home to a happy wife, and children come home to a mother who is glad to see them, it is a priceless luxury that only a housewife can give to those she loves.

A Housewife Begins Her Day With Thanks (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE BEGINS HER DAY WITH THANKS:
Not every day is an easy day for a housewife, but when every day begins with thanks it creates a better perspective. Challenging days require more thanks, and by giving thanks it helps a housewife rise to the challenge of taking care of her responsibilities even when she doesn’t feel up to it. Giving thanks for what she has, even when it’s something she doesn’t want, can change how a housewife looks at what she has, too. When a housewife recognizes and appreciates all that she has – a home, a husband, family, pets, etc. – her thankfulness will fuel her spirit and help keep her going strong every day.

Housework Builds Confidence (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

HOUSEWORK BUILDS CONFIDENCE:
When a woman becomes a housewife without knowing what to do besides a few basic housework tasks, it can be uncomfortable to feel out of place in her own home and she can doubt herself. But the more she does housework, the more she grows her skills by learning new tasks and she builds her confidence every day. By tackling her responsibilities one day at a time, she learns what she is capable of when she puts her mind to it; the more she learns about herself and her home, the better she becomes and the better her home becomes, too.

Housework Matters (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

HOUSEWORK MATTERS:
If having a clean place to live didn’t matter, people wouldn’t hire housekeepers. Housework not only matters but it is an integral necessity when it comes to home ownership or renting a place to live. Housework keeps a home clean and orderly, which in turns keeps the people in the home clean and orderly; without a clean and orderly home, people suffer. A housewife knows the importance of housework and doesn’t want the people she loves to suffer; she knows that housework matters and that she matters, too.

A Housewife Has a Mind of Her Own (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE HAS A MIND OF HER OWN:
One of the most important things for a housewife is to be able to think for herself with her own mind. Since she is the one at home all day, she is in control of her home, and she takes control by thinking for herself. A housewife doesn’t have to be told what to do every day by her husband, and a housewife doesn’t call or text her husband throughout the day to help her make decisions about her responsibilities. A housewife is an adult who is capable of handling her daily housework responsibilities on her own with authority.

A Clean Home is a Healthy Home (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A CLEAN HOME IS A HEALTHY HOME:
It’s nice to have a clean home for family to enjoy, and the benefit of having a clean home is having a healthy home as well. When surfaces are cleaned on a daily basis, it doesn’t give bacteria time to grow and spread. When floors are vacuumed and dusting is done regularly, it makes it easier to breathe with less contaminates in the air. When a housewife gives her family a clean home every day, she also gives them the gift of a healthy home that comes from love.

Housework is Meditation (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

HOUSEWORK IS MEDITATION:
Meditation is about focusing the mind and being aware; when doing housework, it is good to focus the mind on the task at hand and to be aware of the results to make sure the house is getting cleaner rather than just going through motions that don’t produce the best results. Calm breathing helps when doing housework too, along with listening to calm music. Cleaning in a calm mood helps create a calm home and a calm housewife, too.

Meal Planning is a Plan to Use the Food (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

MEAL PLANNING IS A PLAN TO USE THE FOOD:
Meal planning is an essential part of housework for a housewife; more than planning meals, a meal plan is a plan to use the food before it goes bad and has to be thrown out. Throwing out old food for lack of use can become a costly expense and it’s a sign that a plan to use the food is not being implemented. When a plan is made to use the food that is bought, money is saved which in turn helps the entire household. A housewife not only makes plans to use food but she makes it a daily goal to carry out the plans with success.

It’s easy to think negative thoughts, and that is what makes it dangerous because it is easy to fall into a pattern of negative self-talk which serves no good purpose for a housewife who has a family that depends on her and needs her to be at her best every day; being negative is not being one’s best. When a housewife stays positive and sees the good in what she does by caring for her home and family with love, she overpowers any negativity from entering her mind.

A Housework Schedule Allows for Time Off (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWORK SCHEDULE ALLOWS FOR TIME OFF:
The purpose of a housework schedule isn’t to fill every moment of the day with housework. The purpose is to plan time to take care of the important housework tasks each day while also making time to rest and enjoy time with family in a clean home. When a housewife has the perspective that her housework schedule is the key to making time with those who matter most, she will find it easier to stick to her schedule and excel at it.

A Housewife is Committed to Her Purpose (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE IS COMMITTED TO HER PURPOSE:
Women in the work world are committed to their careers which gives them purpose. Likewise, a housewife is committed to her home and family which gives her purpose. The only difference is a housewife has chosen to commit herself to caring for those she loves and the home they share together, rather than being committed to a career outside the home. A housewife doesn’t lack commitment or purpose; a housewife lives every day committed to a meaningful purpose that lifts her spirit, warms her heart, and touches the lives of those she loves.

A Clean Home is a Luxury (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A CLEAN HOME IS A LUXURY:
A housewife doesn’t have to live in a mansion or a million-dollar dream home to live in luxury; and if a mansion was filthy on the inside it would cease to be viewed as luxury living. A clean home is a simple necessity for good living, yet it is also a luxury, not just because it is clean but also because it is cleaned with love and care by the woman of the home. A clean home is a gift of luxury for everyone who lives in the home, including a housewife.

A Housewife Isn't a Maid (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE ISN’T A MAID:
Cleaning a home and caring for a family does not make a housewife a maid, and it does not excuse family from being responsible for themselves. It is the duty of a housewife to set standards in her home that family members respect and uphold when it comes to keeping a home clean; when family neglects to uphold the standards, it is also the duty of the housewife to enforce the standards. A maid doesn’t have a say in how people behave, but a housewife does have a say in the behaviors of her family because a housewife isn’t a maid.

A Housewife is Dependable (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE IS DEPENDABLE:
Just like a woman in the work world who has people depend on her, a housewife has people who depend on her too. A woman in the work world takes her responsibilities seriously and so does a housewife. A woman in the work world can’t avoid her responsibilities without consequences, and a housewife can’t avoid her responsibilities either because her family and loved ones depend on her to be there for them, to care for them, and to make home the best it can be for all of them to enjoy together.

Housework is a Marathon (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

HOUSEWORK IS A MARATHON:
Because housework is something that happens every day, it’s important for a housewife not to burn all her energy at once. That’s why a housewife paces herself since she not only has to get through one day of housework but the following days as well; taking time to rest and catch one’s breath is helpful for the long haul. Having a strategy to get through the hilly ups and downs in each day’s work also helps, along with having a winning attitude to make it across the finish line one day at a time with a feeling of success and triumph.

Where There's a Will, There's a Housewife (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

WHERE THERE’S A WILL, THERE’S A HOUSEWIFE:
Every housewife faces her own challenges that are unique to her life. No matter the challenge though, a housewife has the strength and determination to see her way through it. It’s not always easy to face the same routine day after day, nor is it easy to care for an ill family member or deal with financial deficits. Whatever a housewife faces, she puts one foot in front of the other to overcome the obstacle, and each step is a step of faith that shows she has the will to make the best out of whatever comes her way.

A Housewife Makes a Home Better (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE MAKES A HOME BETTER:
A home is made better by the daily housework that a housewife does but also by a housewife herself. A housewife is a symbol of love and devotion, and that is what she gives of herself every day; she gives her home and family love in a way that only she can. Any wife can become a housewife, but not all wives seize the opportunity; that’s why a housewife is in a class of her own, and her home and family are better for it.

A Well-Made Bed is a Touch of Luxury (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A WELL-MADE BED IS A TOUCH OF LUXURY:
A luxury hotel doesn’t provide guests with unmade beds, and that’s why the simple task of making the bed brings luxury into a home. Changing the sheets once a week makes the bed an inviting retreat and it makes life better for those who sleep in the bed. When a housewife reminds herself that the act of making the bed every day brings luxury to the people she loves as well as herself, it can change her perspective from seeing it as a tedious chore to adding luxury with a touch of love.

Knowing When to Rest Keeps a Housewife Going (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

KNOWING WHEN TO REST KEEPS A HOUSEWIFE GOING:
A housewife has to recognize when she needs to rest, whether it be a few minutes of sitting with a morning beverage between housework tasks or taking a night off from cooking with a meal out. Taking a rest is taking care of the body, and if a housewife doesn’t take care of her body and mind, she may not be able to take care of anyone else if she burns out from exhaustion. Taking care of home and family every day requires rest in order to keep going day after day with a good attitude and physical strength.

Housework is an Opportunity to be a Domestic Artist (Housework Sayings by JenExx)

HOUSEWORK IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE A DOMESTIC ARTIST:
A housewife gets to show off her domestic artistry with every housework task she accomplishes. Even though a housewife doesn’t sign her name on her works of art, she leaves her own signature mark on the clothes she folds, on the beds she makes, on the floors she vacuums, and in the food she cooks. When her family sees the results of her work, they see her signature mark of love and care that she puts into each task.

A Housewife Plans to be Productive (Housewife Sayings by JenExx)

A HOUSEWIFE PLANS TO BE PRODUCTIVE:
A new day is a new opportunity to make the most of the time a housewife has and that means being productive. The best way to be productive is to start with a plan; just like a plan is essential for successful people at work, a successful housewife prepares for each day with a plan. When a housewife has a plan and knows what needs to get done before the day starts, she is better prepared to wake up and face the day with determination to accomplish her goals.
