- Disinfected & wiped down: all door handles & light switches, elliptical, furnace, kitchen cupboard doors & handles, laundry basket, oven, refrigerator, remotes, TV stand, washer & dryer (inside & outside), workout gear
- Emptied: Litter Genie & wiped down; oil diffusers, rinse & refilled
- Refilled: bird bath & feeders + hummingbird feeder; outside water dish
- Refreshed couch pillows in dryer
- Swept deck, outside entrance, workshop entrance & yard walkway
- Took out recycling: glass, metal, paper, plastic
- Washed: cat dishes + mat; ice trays
- Wrote out grocery list
As Needed:
- Food prep: emptied & filled ice trays; rinsed carrots
- Refreshed bath towels in dryer
- Took out household garbage & tidied cardboard recycling
Daily:
- Changed kitchen dish cloth & soaked in OxiClean
- Cleaned litter box
- Descaled tea kettle
- Dishes: washed, dried, put away
- Emptied food scrap bucket
- Made bed & refreshed blanket in dryer
- Made meals
- Opened driveway gate
- Pet the cats & put food/water out
- Prepped coffeemaker & tea kettle for the morning
- Refilled Berkey water filter
- Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
- Vacuumed entire house
- Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop; lunch cooler bag
Downtime:
- Exercise: Kettlebell swings 300am (8kg; 60 swings x 5 sets)
- Blogging, IMDb, journaling, online puzzles, solitaire, watched movies/TV, Wii sports
- Relaxed with my husband: ate chicken taquitos and refried beans dinner & watched ‘Maximum Risk’
A HOUSEWIFE IS COMMITTED TO HER PURPOSE:
Women in the work world are committed to their careers which gives them purpose. Likewise, a housewife is committed to her home and family which gives her purpose. The only difference is a housewife has chosen to commit herself to caring for those she loves and the home they share together, rather than being committed to a career outside the home. A housewife doesn’t lack commitment or purpose; a housewife lives every day committed to a meaningful purpose that lifts her spirit, warms her heart, and touches the lives of those she loves.
