- Laundry 4 loads: towels, clothes tops, clothes pants, towels, whites; wiped down inner drum & lid
- Put away groceries
- Refilled bird bath & feeders + hummingbird feeder
- Swept deck & yard walkway
- Washed ice trays
As Needed:
- Food prep: emptied & filled ice trays; made chocolate & butterscotch chip cookies; refilled flour container & lemon juice squeeze bottle; took out pork chops & sausages to thaw
- Made hummingbird food
- Refilled: bird & cat food containers; Borax container & laundry soap pitcher
- Refreshed bath towels in dryer
- Vacuumed mud room
- Watered outside plants
Daily:
- Changed kitchen dish cloth & soaked in OxiClean
- Cleaned litter box
- Descaled tea kettle
- Dishes: washed, dried, put away
- Emptied food scrap bucket
- Made bed & refreshed blanket in dryer
- Made meals
- Opened driveway gate
- Pet the cats & put food/water out
- Prepped coffeemaker & tea kettle for the morning
- Refilled Berkey water filter
- Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
- Vacuumed entire house
- Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop; lunch cooler bag
Downtime:
- Exercise: Kettlebell swings 300am (8kg; 60 swings x 5 sets)
- Blogging, IMDb, journaling, online puzzles, solitaire, watched movies/TV, Wii sports
- Relaxed with my husband: ate salad with pizza dinner & watched episodes of ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’
A HOUSEWIFE MAKES A HOME BETTER:
A home is made better by the daily housework that a housewife does but also by a housewife herself. A housewife is a symbol of love and devotion, and that is what she gives of herself every day; she gives her home and family love in a way that only she can. Any wife can become a housewife, but not all wives seize the opportunity; that’s why a housewife is in a class of her own, and her home and family are better for it.
