- Baking soda scrub coffee pot, coffee/tea mugs & tumblers
- Changed towels in bathrooms & kitchen (+ sponge)
- Emptied household wastebaskets
As Needed:
- Food prep: cooked bacon (1 package); refilled eggs & turkey containers
- Made toothpaste
- Refilled baking soda container
Daily:
- Changed kitchen dish cloth & soaked in OxiClean
- Cleaned litter box
- Descaled tea kettle
- Dishes: washed, dried, put away
- Emptied food scrap bucket
- Made bed & refreshed blanket in dryer
- Made meals
- Pet the cats & put food/water out
- Prepped coffeemaker & tea kettle for the morning
- Refilled Berkey water filter
- Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
- Vacuumed entire house
- Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop; lunch cooler bag
Downtime:
- Exercise: Kettlebell swings 300am (8kg; 60 swings x 5 sets)
- Blogging, IMDb, journaling, online puzzles, solitaire, watched movies/TV, Wii sports
- Relaxed with my husband: enjoyed our weekly breakfast; ate salad with chicken bake dinner & watched episodes of ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’
WHERE THERE’S A WILL, THERE’S A HOUSEWIFE:
Every housewife faces her own challenges that are unique to her life. No matter the challenge though, a housewife has the strength and determination to see her way through it. It’s not always easy to face the same routine day after day, nor is it easy to care for an ill family member or deal with financial deficits. Whatever a housewife faces, she puts one foot in front of the other to overcome the obstacle, and each step is a step of faith that shows she has the will to make the best out of whatever comes her way.
