- Took out recycling: metal, paper, plastic

- Food prep: filled & set up new olive oil dispenser, salt & pepper shakers; portioned, vacuum-sealed & labeled for freezing burgers, chicken bakes, and fish; shredded cheese; took out cheeses & turkey to thaw
- Refreshed bath towels in dryer
- Took out household garbage & tidied cardboard recycling
Daily:
- Changed kitchen dish cloth & soaked in OxiClean
- Cleaned litter box

- Opened driveway gate
- Pet the cats & put food/water out

- Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
- Vacuumed entire house
- Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop; lunch cooler bag
Downtime:
- Exercise: Kettlebell swings 300am (8kg; 60 swings x 5 sets); Elliptical afternoon (9.5 miles; 42:10 minutes)
- Blogging, IMDb, journaling, online puzzles, solitaire, watched movies/TV, Wii sports
- Relaxed with my husband: ate chicken taquitos with refried beans dinner & watched episodes of ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’
A WELL-MADE BED IS A TOUCH OF LUXURY:
A luxury hotel doesn’t provide guests with unmade beds, and that’s why the simple task of making the bed brings luxury into a home. Changing the sheets once a week makes the bed an inviting retreat and it makes life better for those who sleep in the bed. When a housewife reminds herself that the act of making the bed every day brings luxury to the people she loves as well as herself, it can change her perspective from seeing it as a tedious chore to adding luxury with a touch of love.
