- Washing machine: wash cycle with Borax
- Wiped down steam mop & vacuum
As Needed:
- Food prep: cooked bacon (1 package); cut up cucumber; refilled butter dish; restocked drinks & kitchen freezer; took out butter to thaw
Daily:
- Changed kitchen dish cloth & soaked in OxiClean
- Cleaned litter box
- Descaled tea kettle
- Dishes: washed, dried, put away
- Emptied food scrap bucket
- Made bed & refreshed blanket in dryer
- Made meals
- Opened driveway gate
- Pet the cats & put food/water out
- Prepped coffeemaker & tea kettle for the morning
- Refilled Berkey water filter
- Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
- Vacuumed entire house
- Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop; lunch cooler bag
Downtime:
- Exercise: Elliptical afternoon (8.01 miles; 36:49 minutes)
- Blogging, IMDb, journaling, online puzzles, solitaire, watched movies/TV, Wii sports
- Relaxed with my husband: ate salad, pork chops with roasted broccoli dinner & watched ‘Man on Fire’
STAYING HOME IS A BLESSING:
It is often said that a housewife is ‘stuck’ at home, or that a housewife is being kept in her place when she stays home, which is not necessarily the case. When a housewife stays at home she is protected from many problems and disasters that afflict society and the outside world. It’s not that a housewife never leaves her home, but she doesn’t have to face unknown dangers every day by leaving the safety of her home for a job. Staying home is a blessing for a housewife, and she blesses her home and family by taking care of that which matters most.
