What I Did Today: Sunday 8/21/22

Weekly:

• Baking soda scrub coffee pot, coffee/tea mugs & tumblers
• Changed towels in bathrooms & kitchen (+ sponge)
• Emptied household wastebaskets

As Needed:

• Food prep: refilled eggs container; took out sausages, steak & turkey to thaw 
• Made toothpaste 

Daily:

• Changed kitchen dish cloth 
• Cleaned litter box
• Descaled tea kettle
• Dishes: washed, dried, put away
• Emptied food scrap bucket
• Made bed & refreshed blanket in dryer
• Made meals 
• Pet the cats & put food/water out
• Prepped coffeemaker & tea kettle for the morning
• Refilled Berkey water filter
• Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
• Vacuumed entire house
• Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop; lunch bag cooler 

Downtime:

• Blogging, IMDb, journaling, online puzzles, solitaire, watched movies/TV, Wii sports
• Relaxed with my husband: ate chicken bake dinner & watched episodes of ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ 

A HOUSEWIFE TAKES CHARGE:
Every day a housewife takes charge of her household. She doesn’t have to wait to be told what to do, and she doesn’t have to ask a boss if something is okay to do. A housewife knows what is best for her home because she is the one at home every day and she is the one in charge of her home. Of course a housewife will coordinate with family members to make sure anything that needs to get done in a timely manner gets done, and she takes it upon herself to ask what is needed rather than waiting for people to approach her, because that is what a woman who takes charge does and a housewife takes charge.
