What I Did Today: Tuesday 8/16/22

Weekly:

• Changed: bed sheets; kitchen sponge
• Dusted: bathroom, bedroom, hallway
• Laundry 2 loads: sheets, delicates; wiped down inner drum & lid  
• Lint rolled bedroom curtains
• Polished bedroom furniture
• Refreshed bed blankets & pillows in dryer
• Vacuumed air purifier, dryer lint trap & furnace
• Watered houseplants

As Needed:

• Food prep: took out turkey to thaw  
• Refreshed bath towels in dryer
• Replaced lightbulb in salt lamp (bedroom)
• Restocked cat treats 

Daily:

• Changed kitchen dish cloth 
• Cleaned litter box
• Descaled tea kettle
• Dishes: handwashed, dried, put away
• Emptied food scrap bucket
• Made bed & refreshed blanket in dryer
• Made meals 
• Pet the cats & put food/water out
• Prepped coffeemaker & tea kettle for the morning
• Refilled Berkey water filter
• Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
• Vacuumed entire house
• Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop; lunch cooler bag  

Downtime:

• Blogging, IMDb, journaling, online puzzles, solitaire, watched movies/TV, Wii sports
• Relaxed with my husband: ate salad, sausages with cheese mustard sauce and green beans dinner & watched episodes of ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ 

A HOUSEWIFE MAKES THE WORLD BETTER:
A housewife who devotes herself to her home and family truly makes the world better by making home a place people want to come home to. A housewife makes sure that home is clean and orderly, and she also makes sure that her family are fed and loved; when children are neglected in their homes and not getting fed, it highlights the importance of a housewife who fills that role. A career in the work world doesn’t always make the world better or a woman better, but a housewife who makes her home the best it can be always makes the world better, her family better, and herself better, too.
