As Needed:
- Food prep: cut up cucumber; emptied & refilled ice trays; restocked cheeses; took out tamales & turkey to thaw
- Refreshed bath towels in dryer
Daily:
- Changed kitchen dish cloth
- Cleaned litter box
- Descaled tea kettle
- Dishes: handwashed, dried, put away
- Emptied food scrap bucket
- Made bed & refreshed blanket in dryer
- Made meals
- Opened driveway gate
- Pet the cats & put food/water out
- Prepped coffeemaker & tea kettle for the morning
- Refilled Berkey water filter
- Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
- Vacuumed entire house
- Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop; Litter Genie & scoop; lunch cooler bag
Downtime:
- Exercise: Elliptical 2 sessions (2.70 miles @ 16:49 minutes; 1.99 miles @ 12:43 minutes)
- Blogging, IMDb, journaling, online puzzles, solitaire, watched movies/TV, Wii sports
- Relaxed with my husband: ate salad, soup with cheesy sourdough bread dinner & watched ‘The Commish: Mansion’ (S3, E10)
THE HOUSEHOLD BUDGET IS RELATIVE TO THE HOUSEHOLD INCOME:
When it comes to wise spending choices, the word ‘budget’ is often used in regard to not spending more money than the budget allows.
Not everyone has the same budget though, because not everyone has the same income.
A budget isn’t something only for people who have less money; anyone who values their money operates on a budget.
Millionaires have budgets just like non-millionaires, only their budgets are most likely more than the budget of a non-millionaire since they have a higher income.
When someone says they want to do something on a budget, their budget may not be the same as another’s budget; that’s why it’s important for a housewife to focus on her household income and make her budget work for her home, and not spend according to someone else’s budget and income.
