What I Did Today: Tuesday 10/18/22

Weekly:

• Changed: bed sheets; kitchen sponge
• Dusted: bathroom, bedroom, hallway
• Laundry 2 loads: sheets, delicates; emptied lint trap; wiped down inner drum & lid  
• Lint rolled bedroom curtains
• Polished bedroom furniture
• Refreshed bed blankets & pillows in dryer
• Vacuumed air purifier, dryer lint trap & furnace
• Watered houseplants

As Needed:

• Food prep: cooked bacon (1 package); rinsed carrots 
• Made toothpaste
• Took out household garbage 

Daily:

• Changed kitchen dish cloth 
• Cleaned litter box
• Descaled tea kettle
• Dishes: handwashed, dried, put away
• Emptied food scrap bucket
• Made bed & refreshed blanket in dryer
• Made meals 
• Opened driveway gate 
• Pet the cats & put food/water out
• Prepped coffeemaker & tea kettle for the morning
• Refilled Berkey water filter
• Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
• Vacuumed entire house
• Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop; Litter Genie & scoop; lunch cooler bag  

Downtime:

• Exercise: Elliptical 3 sessions (2.32 miles @ 14:12 minutes; 2.29 miles @ 15:09 minutes; 2.79 miles @ 18:13 minutes) 
• Blogging, IMDb, journaling, online puzzles, solitaire, watched movies/TV, Wii sports
• Relaxed with my husband: ate salad, panko shrimp with onion rings dinner & watched ‘The Commish: All That Glitters’ (S3, E9) 

A GIRLFRIEND IS NOT A HOUSEWIFE:

A man can’t expect a girlfriend to behave as a dutiful housewife, and a woman can’t expect a boyfriend to behave as a providing husband, because they aren’t married. 

Life changes for the better when a legal marriage bond is created, and a new phase of life begins for husband and wife. 

Only then can a woman fully enter into the role of housewife and begin devoting herself to her home and husband by taking care of him, so that he is properly prepared to go into the world everyday as a caring provider for her and their home.
