- Dishes: handwashed, dried, put away
- Emptied food scrap bucket
- Made bed & refreshed blanket in dryer

- Opened driveway gate
- Pet the cats & put food/water out
- Prepped coffeemaker & tea kettle for the morning
- Refilled Berkey water filter
- Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
- Vacuumed entire house
- Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop; Litter Genie & scoop; lunch cooler bag
Downtime:
- Blogging, design shops, IMDb, journaling, watched movies/TV, Wii sports
- Relaxed with my husband: ate salad and steak & broccoli dinners; watched ‘The Commish: Benny’ (S3, E12)
HOUSEWORK SATISFIES THE SOUL:
Housework isn’t about having fun, and the reality is that it isn’t always fun.
What is better than fun, though, is feeling satisfied for accomplishing daily tasks, especially when the tasks are challenging, or the day is filled with obstacles.
When a housewife takes time to look around her home and admire the efforts of her work, it feels good in her soul to know that with her own two hands she created a place that provides comfort and welcomes her loved ones home.
