- Washing machine: wash cycle with Borax; wiped down inner drum & lid
- Wiped down steam mop & vacuum
As Needed:
- Food prep: refilled eggs container; restocked kitchen freezer; took out bacon & breakfast links to thaw
- Put away online orders
- Restocked bathroom supplies
Daily:
- Changed kitchen dish cloth & soaked in OxiClean
- Cleaned litter box
- Descaled tea kettle
- Dishes: washed, dried, put away
- Emptied food scrap bucket
- Made bed & refreshed blanket in dryer
- Made meals
- Pet the cats & put food/water out
- Prepped coffeemaker & tea kettle for the morning
- Refilled Berkey water filter
- Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
- Vacuumed entire house
- Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop; lunch cooler bag
Downtime:
- Exercise: Kettlebell swings 120am (8kg; 40 swings x 3 sets) Elliptical afternoon (8.73 miles; 37:46 minutes)
- Blogging, IMDb, journaling, online puzzles, solitaire, watched movies/TV, Wii sports
- Relaxed with my husband: ate salad, steak with roasted broccoli dinner & watched episodes of ‘The Commish’
CLEANING IS MORE PRODUCTIVE THAN COMPLAINING:
A housewife has a finite amount of time in each day and what she does with that time matters. Instead of complaining about what’s wrong, it’s more productive to put time and energy into cleaning. There’s no guarantee that complaining will improve anything, but cleaning always improve a home.
