Alternate Week:

• Refreshed toilet toppers in dryer, lint rolled & ironed 
• Spot-cleaned bathrooms

Weekly:

• Changed towels in bathrooms & kitchen (+ sponge)
• Emptied household wastebaskets
• Mopped bathrooms & kitchen
• Refreshed bathmats in dryer + lint rolled
• Washed cat dishes + mat 
• Washing machine: wash cycle with Borax; wiped down inner drum & lid 
• Wiped down steam mop & vacuum

As Needed:

• Cleaned & decluttered under sink storage (office bathroom) 
• Food prep: refilled turkey container; restocked drinks/hydration packets/tea & kitchen freezer 
• Refilled vinegar bottle 
• Restocked vitamins

Daily:

• Changed kitchen dish cloth 
• Cleaned litter box
• Descaled tea kettle
• Dishes: handwashed, dried, put away
• Emptied food scrap bucket
• Made bed & refreshed blanket in dryer
• Made meals 
• Opened driveway gate 
• Pet the cats & put food/water out
• Prepped coffeemaker & tea kettle for the morning
• Refilled Berkey water filter
• Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
• Vacuumed entire house
• Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop; Litter Genie; lunch cooler bag 

Downtime:

• Exercise: Elliptical 3 sessions (2.77 miles @ 18 minutes; 2.17 miles @ 15:41 minutes; 2.38 miles @ 16:51 minutes) 
• Blogging, IMDb, journaling, online puzzles, solitaire, watched movies/TV, Wii sports
• Relaxed with my husband: ate salad, panko shrimp with onion rings dinner & watched ‘The Commish: The Set-Up’ (S3, E5)

MAKE THE MOST OF HOUSEWORK:

Housework isn’t something to be done without thought or care, because the result is thoughtless and careless. 

Housework is important work and deserves just as much attention to detail as any other profession. 

When a housewife cares about accomplishing housework and puts thought into her actions in order to create pleasing results, she is making the most of housework, and she enjoys the rewards when housework is complete and home is clean.
