To me, being a faithful wife means I am loyal to my husband and our home by making them my top priorities.
If I had a job that took me out of the house, or filled my days at home with paying work, I would have to make work a priority over my husband and our home, thereby making them lesser priorities.
It sounds great in theory that I can manage a home, a husband, and paying work without it impacting me negatively, but when the day is done I don’t want to be drained from the demands of work when I still have a husband and home that require my care.
And if I don’t want another woman to take care of my husband in the bedroom, why would I want to pay another woman to take care of my home so long as I am able?
Being unfaithful, or cheating, is commonly thought of as a sexual act, but I think it’s cheating to give my energy and efforts to paying work instead of my husband and our home.
Because if my husband and our home don’t get the benefit of me at my best due to tiredness or stress from work and commuting, that’s cheating them out of the best me I can be.
I don’t want to give less than my best and I accept that I have a finite amount of energy that the work world does not replenish but only takes; therefore, I want my energy to go to my husband and our home.
When my husband comes home after a day at work, a calm and stable home life is waiting for him so he can rejuvenate for another day of work, and enjoy the benefits of my faithfulness to him and our clean home where we relax together.
