Caring: displaying kindness and concern for others.
I display kindness and concern for my husband by listening to his problems without shunning them off as if they mean nothing to me.
His problems are my problems because he is mine, but I am not a dumping ground for his problems; I am a problem-solver which is why he tells me his problems so that I can offer helpful feedback, and if I can’t fix the problem I can at least lighten his load by listening with care.
I wish I could fix all the problems my husband deals with at his job, but the reality is I can’t; what I can do though is make his home life the best it can be so that he has a place to relax and recharge for the next day’s battle.
I know what the battles can be like from my own work experiences; those experiences actually prepared me for being a housewife because they taught me how important a stable and calm home life is, not only for a marriage but for the person who leaves the house every day and needs a caring person there when they come home. I’m glad I get to be that person for my husband.
