Weekly:
- Laundry 4 loads: towels, clothes tops, clothes pants, delicates; wiped down inner drum & lid
- Put away groceries
- Refilled bird bath & feeders + hummingbird feeder
- Washed ice trays
As Needed:
- Food prep: cut up melons; emptied & filled ice trays; rinsed peppers
- Refreshed bath towels in dryer
- Took out old produce to compost pile
Daily:
- Changed kitchen dish cloth & soaked in OxiClean
- Cleaned litter box
- Descaled tea kettle
- Dishes: washed, dried, put away
- Emptied food scrap bucket
- Made bed & refreshed blanket in dryer
- Made meals
- Opened driveway gate
- Pet the cats & put food/water out
- Prepped coffeemaker & tea kettle for the morning
- Refilled Berkey water filter
- Set-up morning dishes & vitamins
- Vacuumed entire house
- Wiped: bathroom mirror & faucet handle; gadgets; kitchen counters/stovetop
Downtime:
A HOUSEWIFE IS RESOURCEFUL:
Since a housewife is dependent on the income of her husband, it is her responsibility to be resourceful. While it is nice to buy new things, a resourceful housewife will make the most of what is in the home before spending money on something that isn’t needed. It takes resourcefulness and creativity to repurpose an item or discover a new use for an unused item; every time money isn’t spent on something unnecessary there is more money for daily living necessities and savings.
