April 2021 Housework Diary

Another month of housework is done!

Of course when one month ends another begins, and the monthly cycle starts all over again.

The same is true in the work world though; daily tasks need to be done, and so do weekly and monthly tasks.

There are some days when I postpone a task, but I don't do it if something is dirty; and some days I wake up and think 'Maybe I'll rest today and do nothing', but I feel better when the work is done and I earned a rest in a clean home.

Just like in the work world, housework isn't necessarily about feeling passionate for the task at hand, or inspired or motivated; it's about being disciplined to do what needs to be done in order to get paid, or in my case in order to enjoy a clean home every day.
